Background
Costa Coffee partnered with Tribera on their most high-profile seasonal campaigns of the year - designing their 2025 festive cup collection. The brief challenged Tribera to create a design that expressed warmth, connection, and togetherness and bringing to life Costa’s “Made with heart” brand platform.
Client challenge
Tribera led the creative direction, tasked with delivering a design that is joyful, inclusive, and unmistakably Costa, while avoiding traditional festive imagery.
There were significant technical and creative constraints that the team navigated such as: eight print colour stations, mass accessibility, and the need to resonate across different cultures and communities.
Our Solution
Working closely with Costa’s in-house team, Tribera took a human-centered approach, drawing deep inspiration from the rituals and small moments that connect people during the festive season. Designers across the agency contributed their own interpretations, all guided by a central vision: to make the festive cup meaningful across ages, cultures, and communities.
The resulting design combine a refined colour palette with expressive textures and forms, reflecting the emotional warmth of the season. Tribera celebrated its Birmingham roots, building a campaign that showcases regional creative talent on a national and international stage.

The results
The festive cup campaign has received a warm reception from customers, with many sharing positive reactions in stores and online. The new designs are playing a meaningful role in millions customers’ seasonal rituals across 2,800 UK stores and selected international markets. Early feedback suggests the creative approach is connecting well with Costa’s community during the festive period.
