Tribera collaborated closely with Costa Coffee to refresh and evolve its festive food packaging for the 2024 Christmas campaign. The project involved building upon the previous year’s design system while injecting distinct seasonal character, responding to learnings and challenges from the 2023 roll-out.
Client challenge
Costa wanted us to design a festive packaging suite for Costa’s 2024 Christmas food and treat range that aligned with the ATL campaign and festive cup, unified disparate elements, and delivered tier clarity, compliance, and flexibility across formats.
Our Solution
Costa wanted deep, rich colours and simple layouts signal quality in seasonal products. Packaging had to balance indulgence with modern appeal while helping customers navigate dietary and tier differences quickly.
Our in-house design and artwork teams developed two creative routes, refining the chosen one into a playful yet premium system. We managed full creative direction, artwork production, and pre-press preparation, ensuring technical accuracy and premium print finishes. Designs were adapted for every SKU, including bespoke formats like gravy dip pots and panini wraps, and built for consistency across materials and substrates.
The results
The refreshed suite brought festive warmth, tier clarity, and strong in-store presence, solving past technical challenges and enabling confident seasonal activation across all touchpoints.
