Where are you based?
B1 Studios is located in central Birmingham, just a short walk from New Street Station.

We’re easily accessible by train, tram, or car — making it convenient for guests, clients, and creators from across the Midlands and beyond.
If you have your own large kit to transport, please let us know before your shoot day, as we’re on the 23rd floor!
Will someone be there during my booking?
Yes! Our team is based in the same building, so there’s always someone available if you need support. If it’s your first time visiting, we’ll give you a full walkthrough of the space and equipment before your session starts.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes - there are several multi-storey car parks within a few minutes’ walk. Our nearest car parks are:

If you need to unload equipment, we can arrange short-term access directly outside the studio.
Is there natural light in the studio?
Yes. Our photography, podcast and content creation space benefits from large south-west facing windows, providing bright natural light from midday until sunset - perfect for portrait, fashion, and product photography.
For a more controlled environment, you can utilise our blackout blinds, and we can supply state-of-the-art lighting.
Do you provide lighting and equipment?
We have a range of professional lighting, microphones, cameras, and backdrops available to use or hire. You’re also welcome to bring your own gear - our setup is plug-and-play friendly.
Do you offer editing or production support?
Yes. We can provide live editing and post-production for podcasts. We have a range of options for editing, retouching and colour correction support.
The b1Studios team also provide on-location podcast production, bringing our equipment and crew to your business or event.
Is the studio soundproof?
Our studios provide great conditions for podcasts, interviews, and video content. While not fully soundproof, the space is quiet and ideal for most recording projects.
Can I visit the studio before booking?
Of course! We offer studio tours by appointment — get in touch via our contact form or social channels and we’ll arrange a suitable time to show you around.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is included for all bookings.
Is the venue accessible?
Our studio is fully accessible via a lift on the 23rd floor. If you or your guests have specific access needs, please let us know in advance so we can help wherever possible.
What’s the minimum booking time?
Our minimum hire slot is two hours for both podcast and photography sessions.
Can I extend my booking on the day?
If the studio is available, absolutely. Just let a member of the team know and we’ll check availability.
Is there anywhere to eat nearby?
Yes - we've got catering options availble within the building and we’re surrounded by great cafés, coffee shops, and quick-bite options.

You’ll find Starbucks, Subway, Blank Street Coffee and plenty of local independents just minutes away, or you can order via Deliveroo or Uber Eats during your session.
We have an on-site kitchen, you can utilise during your session.
Who is the studio suitable for?
Our space is used by content creators, podcasters, photographers, brands, agencies, and businesses. Whether you’re filming a TikTok campaign, recording a podcast, or shooting professional imagery - B1 Studios in Birmingham gives you everything you need to create.
Do you have a floor plan or studio dimensions?
Yes - our photography and content studio has approximately 9m x 5m x 7m of usable floor space, giving you plenty of room for lighting setups, equipment, and creative layouts. The main photo backdrop area measures 2.7m wide, with additional space for props, styling tables, and movement during shoots.
