TRIBERA IS NOW CYBER ESSENTIALS PLUS CERTIFIED
We've achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the higher of the two tiers in the UK government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme. Cyber Essentials, which we announced in June, is a self-assessed questionnaire. Cyber Essentials Plus adds an independent assessor actually testing our systems: external vulnerability scanning and internal checks against the same controls we declared.
Some public sector tenders now specify Plus as the minimum, not just Cyber Essentials. A few won't let you bid without it. For an agency working with more public bodies and national brands each year, we want to constantly be improving our security.

What's the difference between Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus?
Cyber Essentials is a self-assessment: you answer a set of questions about your security controls and a certifying body checks the answers stack up. Cyber Essentials Plus adds an independent technical audit on top, external vulnerability scanning and internal testing of the controls you declared, carried out by someone who doesn't work for you.
Why does this matter for a creative content agency?
Agencies aren't typically thought of as a security risk. That's exactly why it's worth taking seriously. We hold brand assets, customer data and live campaign access for clients across retail, transport, hospitality and the public sector, and every one of those clients is trusting us not to be the reason their data ends up somewhere it shouldn't.
